MANUFACTURER PROFIDED DISCRIPTION
In the tradition of the latest 41.1, the Oceanis 38.1 cleverly combines
practical features, performance and elegance on boat sizes where function
generally outweighs personalization: the Oceanis range continues to stand by its
desire to offer a wide choice to demanding customers.
The new Oceanis 38.1 offers a performance to habitability ratio second to none
on this size of cruising yacht. Length and beam on the waterline have been
extended to the limit to make her quick to cut through the water, while
increasing stability.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
The Oceanis 38.1’s chined hull offers particularly surprising cruising comfort.
Good and taut to aft and low on the water, the rigidity under sail of this
cruiser takes her further and faster, with exceptional stability. It is a real
joy to have two helm stations, a mainsail arch and a huge swim platform on a
sailing yacht this size.
INTERIOR DESIGN
For the Italian design team, the challenge was to multiply the living spaces in
the saloon and offer greater privacy in the owner cabin, while maintaining the
visual perspective that her opening to the bow offered in previous versions. The
new L-shaped galley makes a facing seat saloon arrangement possible. The space
has been well optimized to allow eight people to sit around the table.
LIVING SPACES A PRIORITY
Designed to suit a variety of sailing programs and increasingly different
lifestyles on board, the Oceanis 38.1 is available respectively in 6 versions
with varied layouts: number of cabins and bathrooms, modularity of the saloon,
choice of galley, storage capacity, etc.
SEPERATE OWNER CABIN
Now accessed by a double door, the owner cabin offers wonderful privacy. This
new separate space still has a pleasant forward view of the boat when the doors
are open.
TAILOR-MADE INTERIOR ATMOSPHERES
Light Oak or Mahogany Alpi: the Oceanis 38.1 offer a choice between a
contemporary light oak or more classic Mahogany Alpi atmosphere. Once the
cabinet work has been decided upon, a wide choice of linings and upholstery
colors and materials adds the finishing personal touches.
